Priyadarshini Nursing Institute, Darbhanga was established in 2015! The College was started with the objective of imparting high quality education to students, so that they have in-depth practical knowledge and develop skills.

The College is  recognized as a centre of excellence for education and research. The mission of the College is to take Priyadarshini Nursing Institute, Darbhanga  to newer heights! The College has set a goal for itself to excel in nursing care in the field Education and in service through Research.

It does so by preparing and enlightening the students of this Course with the quality education that is at par with the best standards in the country. After the completion of the Course they can provide comprehensive nursing care and assume responsibilities as specialists, consultants, educators, and administrators and become future leaders in the health care sector.

On offer are Programs like Basic B.Sc in Nursing, and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. After completing the required course, one can also go for MSc in Nursing. Students can also opt for the Diploma Certificate Courses i.e A.N.M & G.N.M . The duration of a Basic B.Sc in Nursing is 4 years, Post Basic B.Sc is 2 years, A.N.M is 2 years, G.N.M is 3  years .

Various research activities are carried out by B. Sc, PB BSc,  students of nursing and faculty of the College. They are also involved in various activities like framing statements, objectives and review of literature, Journal Presentation / Journal clubs, Synopsis & Research Proposal, which is approved by Scientific Committee, Research & Recognition Committee & Ethics Committee.

Our students get training at our own hospital and various prestigious hospital in the district .Apart from private hospitals our students also get training at Darbhanga Medical College & Hospital and at different PHC.
